Apollo: Submitted by Kristina U. – “This is a picture of my Portuguese Water Dog, Apollo, at about 5 months old. We used to leave his food out on the counter so that we could use his food as rewards during training. However, one day, we caught him red-handed and I quickly grabbed my camera to get this shot. He had climbed up onto his crate to reach his food bowl. Pretty soon after that, we moved his crate realizing he tried to get everything we left on the counter.”

GiGi: Submitted by The Farrands – “GiGi is 4-months-old in this picture and mostly a very calm puppy but when she’s in the mood she loves to wrestle with her big sister–a five-year-old Golden Retriever. GiGi also loves to chew on her chewy bones, shred paper from the garbage can, go for walks and play with her stuffed animals. She especially loves to cuddle up to her human parents and be a lap dog while she still can.”

One night during his shift, Drew heard a little meow and found this little guy on a shampoo shelf at just barely 3 weeks old! Even though his eyes were still partially closed, the feisty little guy let out a big hiss as Drew picked him up, and was immediately given the name Creature. Two years later, Creature is healthy and enjoys chasing feathers around the house.”
